Crimsafe’s rich history in Australian motorsport

As the nation’s biggest motorsport event, Bathurst 1000 dawns upon us, it is timely to reflect and celebrate Crimsafe’s rich and proud heritage in Australian motorsport.

Crimsafe entered the world of motorsport in 2009 as a sponsor of the Dick Johnson Racing (DJR) team. This coincided with Grant Denyer’s V8 Supercar racing comeback after 6 months rehabilitation following a serious injury.

Crimsafe founder, the late Steve Brabeck provided financial support for DJR, later becoming a shareholder and using his business expertise to help the team.

Steve famously got the team to the Homebush 2010 event by crucially paying for travel and logistics, the event where the team would go on to win the Championship.

This relationship also paved the way for Dick Johnson to become the face of Crimsafe’s TV advertising for a number of years, helping the brand grow to become the household name that it is today.

Crimsafe wish the Shell V-Power Racing Team all the best in this year’s race.
